Predator Control - The Need for Control
Predator control is part and parcel of being a member of a game hunting club.
With diminished habitat and cover for all species including game birds, predator control has become more vital than ever. A club member cannot expect Game to be present if he or she is not working to control vermin throughout the year.
We engage in predator control to:
- Protect vulnerable wildlife from predators such as foxes and grey crows.
- Assist sheep and poultry farmers to protect their stock.
- Supporting rare species such as the grey partridge.
- Remove invasive species such as mink.
